Return of the boat
The day before disembarkation no later than 17:00.
With or without captain
You can sail the boat yourself (a valid sailing license and experience are required) or hire a captain during the reservation.
Security deposit or Deposit insurance
Refundable security deposit: 3.500,00 EUR
Or
Non-refundable security deposit insurance: 650,00 EUR
Payment plan
50% upon booking confirmation (within 7 days)
50% 65 days before the embarkation date
Optional extras
Stand-up paddle: 120 EUR/week
Safety net (installed): 250 EUR/booking
Pet pack (up to 6kg): 200 EUR/booking
WiFi: 100 EUR/week
Beach towels: 10 EUR/person
Extra bed-linen (full set): 10 EUR/person
Extra bath towels: 10 EUR/person
Crew change: 100 EUR/booking
Early check-in (at 14:00): 150 EUR/booking
Late check-in (after 18:00): 150 EUR/booking

Payment plan & Cancellation policy
Payment Plan
- Charter Price: 50% of the total charter fee due and payable upon reservation to confirm the booking (the latest 10 days after the booking confirmation).
- A balance payment of 50% is due 65 days before embarkation.
Cancellation Policy
Time of Cancellation (Notification to Tailwind Yachting in Writing)
- Cancelation request in writing up to the 31st of January: 20% of the total charter price
- Cancelation request in writing between the 31st of January and 61 days before the embarkation date: 50% of the total charter fee.
- Cancelation request in writing less than 60 days before embarkation date: 100% of the total charter fee.
- No-Show Cancellation: 100% of all amounts including charter price, mandatory/optional extras, and any crew are due.

Excellent experience with Tailwind charters in Athens back in August.
Getting the boat was quick and easy and it helped to have a proper introduction to the yacht. It was exceptionally clean and well prepared for our week. The yachts are fully equipped and well kitted out.
Even the little basket with food was very well received by the crew.
We had a contact on WhatsApp to ask for help if needed.
Even the return was effectively handled.
I can only highly recommend Tailwinds as your charter choice when in Athens.
